they already share! but geralt is dumb about bad dreams. cuddling makes them better, not sleeping on the floor! they do all the courting except saying it. and the fucking part.

I suppose the easiest way of explaining is that it's a kind of special hug for grown-up people that they only do with people they like. It's special because they take off their clothes to do it and they rub against each other while they're hugging. They'll do other things too, which is why it's loud sometimes, but you'll learn more about that when you're older. If their bodies are in the right places when they do it and one is a boy and the other is a girl, then eggs happen.
(It feels nice when you're a grown-up, but not when you're still little. When you're still little it feels gross. That's why only grown-ups do it.)
There's a nicer word for it too: making love. You can 'fuck' a lot of people, but you can only make love to the people you love in a husband or wife way.

Humans in my world give live birth instead of laying eggs. If they do that here too, they might not have any human eggs, just human hatchlings. Then the problem is getting a human hatchling that doesn't already have parents.
You could ask doctors if they know anyone with a baby human that needs being taken care of? Even if there's none that need to be taken care of forever, there might be some that need to be taken care of for a few hours.
