You're assuming that this type does anything but focus on the "clues". So if you just plant little clues here and there to something completely and utterly false, I'm sure the dumb-ass will take the bait and come to the conclusion of it being something entirely different.
Scientist or not, I've seen some idiotic scientists in my time.
Plus since literally all he has to identify me is that I've got a Xatu on my team. So whatever other heists happen by anyone else, he might just try to investigate that way.
As it is, I gave him a suggestion in my civilian persona as to one of the moves that got used on the marks, so hopefully he'll assume I'm a helpful citizen that can't possibly be a Rocket.
