An alley cat that Steven befriended and lured home via copious fish and promises of cream. Originally he planned to make her the foundation of his Rocket team, but she's since been retired into the indulgent life of a housecat. Very friendly with other Pokemon in the field group. Toujours gai.
Despite largely being just a spoiled housecat, Mehitabel somehow managed to evolve into a Persian. Maybe it was all the money she was making with Payday? Steven loves her new form. It makes him feel powerful to sit in one of Jack's leather chairs and pet her.
Post-break-up, Mehitabel and her Paydays are an important facet of Steven's financial security, especially while he had to take an extended unpaid absence from his newsroom position.
Her ability is Pickup. It lets her pick up items in or outside of battle! Her nature is Sassy; she is somewhat vain. First met in Goldenrod City as a Meowth. Level 14 when first caught.
