As a Changeling, Steven has had certain alterations made to his true form. These include:
The thing is, though? Normal people can't see that. Oh, they might register that his fingers are long or that he's not in the best color, but otherwise they'll just see Steven as he used to look. Like the guy in his icons. And since the Mask extends to all senses, that's what they'll feel too when they touch him.
There are, however, some exceptions. Other Changelings, ensorcelled mortals, and anyone whose powers specifically let them see through illusions. Also, sometimes children or mentally ill or neurodivergent people can see through it as well--though that's not nearly as much of a sure thing as the other cases.
Dreamwalking
As a Changeling, Steven possess the ability to go Dreamwalking: to enter the dreams of sleeping people. He also has contracts that let him shape the dreams of anyone he can see (whether in their presence or using a picture of them) and let him summon armor and weapons in those dreams in case he has to do battle in those dreams.
Harvesting Glamour
Glamour is what allows Changelings to use the powers granted by their Contracts. They can get Glamour in a variety of ways, including feeding off the emotions associated by the Court they're a member of and through Dreamwalking--and by getting fruit from the Hedge, but Steven won't be able to get that in jamjar games.
Steven's primary way of Harvesting Glamour through visiting other people's dreams, but his secondary method is by feeding off either Sorrow or Fear, depending on the canonpoint I'm playing him at.
Sapping the Vital Spark
All Changeling kiths come with some sort of ability related to their kith. As a Leechfinger, Steven is able to Sap The Vital Spark, which basically means that he can, if he chooses, steal a small amount of health from someone he's touching in order to heal himself.
Permissions!
Can your character see through Steven's mask? It's okay if they can't. Most people won't be able to.
Can Steven go Dreamwalking in your character's dreams? Can he shape them? It's okay if the answers to these are different.
Can Steven draw Glamour from your character, either by feeding off their Sorrow/Fear or by Dreamwalking? Again, it's okay if the answers to these are different.
Can Steven steal a small amount of health from your character to heal himself if need be? If he does need to do this, I will give you a heads up ahead of time.
