He'd like to tell Jack that this doesn't change how much he wants him. That despite the wreck that's under his mask, Jack's still handsome to him. But he can see how awkward all this is for Jack right now and he doesn't-- he doesn't want to push.
So instead he says, "Should we finish getting undressed before you show me what to do or will that be too distracting?"
