He went without the 'n' from the start. We have the same name; he just prefers the single syllable nickname while I prefer the long form. Sharing names is probably more of a human thing, I suppose. I suspect it comes from more of our infants making it to adulthood than I understand yours do.
But yes. From what I know of trolls castes, humans seem to be more like your lowbloods in general. Some of us are more like your higher blooded castes, but in those cases it's generally more advantageous to act like a lowblood in most company anyway, as the highblood psychology doesn't usually come with the other benefits yours have, such as longer lifespan.
And I have some familiarity with some alien species, yes. Enough to get by when it comes to yours, at least.
